Responsibilities

Ensure facility and equipment are clean, organized, and suitable for food production.

Empty trash cans, bins, and barrels throughout the day.

Clean and sanitize trash cans, bins, and barrels throughout the day.

Hose and squeegee sanitation room floor throughout the day.

Sweep main corridor, sweep plant entrance hallway.

Mop corridor, mop plant entrance hallway 2x/day.

Empty & refill footbath 2‑3x/day.

Verify proper sanitizer strength.

Pick up debris/trash in main corridor.

Run floor scrubber in main corridor, empty & rinse floor scrubber.

Mop edges of main corridor.

Clean trash compactor dock (inside).

Tidy sanitation room.

Lock chemical storage area.

Logout of Quaddex system.

Sweep pest control chases.

Perform pest control inspections.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Knowledge of manufacturing software.
