Maintenance Assistant
to help keep our facility safe, efficient, and welcoming. Join a supportive team and make a difference every day in the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with maintenance, preventive maintenance, facility projects, and repairs.
Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, drywall patching, minor plumbing, and carpentry work.
Maintain internal and external grounds and building equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure daily clean-up of work areas at the end of each shift or job completion.
Respond to "on-call" emergency maintenance situations as needed.
Oversee the maintenance department in the absence of the Maintenance Director.
Support with setup and breakdown for facility events and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in a long-term care facility or hospital preferred.
Skilled in painting, minor repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
