(SAE) Specialty Strategic Account Executive:

Responsibilities
Serve as consultative lead on specialty product solutions to improve member outcomes and effectively manage specialty trends. The primary focus of this role is to grow our business in specialty pharmacy and medical benefit solutions
Responsible for PBM Health Plan clients for all lines of business
Responsible for supporting renewal, retention, and product up‑sell for existing clients
Responsible for specialty client satisfaction, strategy, contracts (pharmacy, medical, product, etc.) and contract terms (such as performance guarantees), and service delivery
Lead the account as the specialty quarterback by partnering with internal teams, including PBM SAD and Account Team (as applicable), Specialty Account Management, Clinical/Specialty Client Solutions, Pharmacy and Medical benefit Product owners, Specialty Underwriting, Specialty Legal, ANCS, and Specialty Operations
Owns strategic specialty client relationships with C‑suite and day‑to‑day points of contact:
Specialty SAE collaborates with the PBM account leads who are the overarching client point of contact. They both establish an agreed upon account structure with defined specialty client contacts that meets the needs of the client to ensure clear communication and partnership with the PBM leads. Client scale, size, lines of business, and unique needs help define the overall role the Specialty SAE provides. This can often make each client model unique from a specialty support perspective.
The Specialty SAE then maintains the ongoing client relationship and collaborates with PBM sales leads to assist in growing and retaining our PBM health plan business.
Deliver quarterly, annual, and ad‑hoc Specialty drug trend and financial performance reporting to clients
Present a comprehensive pharmacy and medical benefit strategy, offering integrated solutions across the benefit, including Pilot opportunities
Identify opportunities to carve‑in therapeutic categories (i.e., PAH, Hemophilia, IVIG, Sickle Cell, HIV, Fertility) to maximize CVS Specialty and Coram volume
Support client downstream business growth strategies
Required Qualifications
5+ years PBM experience within the Sales, Account Management or client‑facing role.
Experience presenting information in a formal setting.
Experience using analytical skills and logic to analyze the business, solve problems, and present recommendations to leaders to develop solutions.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must possess a valid and current driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
PBM experience in a sales/service executive with a large, strategic account and leadership experience
Experience managing employer group or health plan accounts.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
Anticipated Weekly Hours 40

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $83,050.00 - $174,134.00
