As our Pro Sales Associate at Behr, you’ll work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focusing on professional painting contractors and their unique needs. You’ll meet and form relationships with local pros who rely on Behr for excellent products and exceptional customer service. You will build relationships with pros in the store who may be there for paint or something else. When an outside rep sends a contractor to you for paint, you will collaborate to get exactly the right products, mix the paint, collect any sundry paint tools, and get them in and out of the store quickly so they can get back to work. You will make our professional customers feel like they had a paint store experience. Responsibilities
Outgoing personality:
You’ll support the Home Depot Pro Desk, introduce yourself to contractors, get to know their business and needs, maintain relationships, and follow up on their jobs and future needs.
Collaboration:
You’ll work closely with Behr’s outside sales reps and assist customers in-store, including pulling and tinting orders for pickup. This role may require occasional lifting up to 75 lbs and you’ll work with Home Depot staff as part of the team to maintain mutually beneficial relationships.
Basic computer skills:
You’ll enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce; training is available, and prior computer knowledge is a plus.
Bilingual:
Not required, but beneficial if you speak a second language, as many professional contractors do.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic computer skills with willingness to learn Salesforce.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs when required.
Customer service orientation and strong communication skills.
