Performance Management Business Analyst
is responsible for supporting activities to support and monitor providers and members to detect and reduce potential fraud, abuse and quality of care issues within the Medi-Cal Dental Program as a part of Compliance Management. This role serves to help maintain the integrity of the Medi-Cal Dental Program. You will play a vital role in identifying areas for improvement and assisting in implementing strategies to enhance Program performance. Here are the details on this position.
Your role in our mission
Assist in tracking, managing and processing compliance incidents within the Medi-Cal Dental Program
Query reports and analyze data surrounding the delivery, billing, and utilization of dental services to detect unusual practices, billing anomalies and potential abuse by Medi-Cal dental providers and/or members
Facilitate internal and external department meetings, including establishing calendar invitations and formulating formal agendas
Record, capture, publish and disseminate detailed meeting minutes for Performance Management
Assist in documentation of activities surrounding providers and remediation activities.
What we're looking for
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position within Dental healthcare, required. Medi-Cal Dental experience preferred
Proficiency in creating, querying, and analyzing reports
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel spreadsheets
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
Knowledge of Medi-Cal Dental criteria and program requirements strongly preferred
Additional Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated eagerness to be a collaborative team player, working effectively with colleagues, cross‑functional partners, service providers, and clients
Strong willingness to learn new processes, adapt quickly to change, and embrace continuous improvement
Highly detail‑oriented with a track record of accuracy and thoroughness
Self‑sufficient and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision
Responsible, dependable, and committed to maintaining a high level of professionalism
What you should expect in this role
Position is required to be onsite 2 days a week in Roseville, CA office.
Candidate must reside within commuting distance (1 hour driving) to Roseville, CA.
Video cameras must be used during all interviews

The pay range for this position is $59,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
