Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) plays a pivotal role in driving sales performance across the Trauma, Emergency Medicine, and Vascular portfolios. This leader is responsible for managing a team of Sales Representatives and Clinical Specialists, ensuring disciplined execution, strategic growth, and alignment with Teleflex’s mission to improve patient outcomes. The RSM will focus on acute care hospital markets, including Emergency Departments, Critical Care, Operating Rooms, and Vascular Access environments. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic agility, and a commitment to developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a high-performing regional sales team to achieve ambitious targets with strategic clarity and purpose. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive adoption of key products, including Arrow® EZ-IO®, QuikClot®, Arrow Central Lines, PICC Lines, and Arterial Lines. Navigate complex sales environments, flexing across multiple call points, sales cycles, and two distinct product lines within a combined sales team. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key hospital stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers to support long-term growth. Conduct regular field visits to coach and mentor team members, identify opportunities, and accelerate regional performance. Partner with Corporate Accounts to align and support regional contracting strategies and initiatives. Deliver accurate sales forecasts and manage regional resources to maximize efficiency and impact. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including timely expense reporting and CRM utilization. Plan and facilitate impactful regional and national sales meetings to drive alignment and engagement. Provide actionable market insights to inform marketing strategies and guide product development. Champion a culture of inclusion, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university. Minimum 2+ years of experience in a sales management role within medical devices. Proven success in Emergency Medicine, ICU, OR, and Vascular Access sales environments. Demonstrated skills in strategic selling, negotiation, and team leadership. Experience working in a matrixed, fast-paced, and growth-oriented organization. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce). Valid driver’s license.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $130,000-275,000 (inclusive of commissions) however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commissions will also vary depending on individual performance. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position,” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
