My client is seeking an experienced IT Senior Audit Manager to join a dynamic and expanding team. The role involves leading audits of our IT infrastructure, applications, and processes across a global landscape, ensuring compliance with international standards, managing risks, and enhancing control mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership in Audit Projects: Direct and manage IT audit activities, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up, for our operations worldwide.
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of high risk within IT operations, focusing on both current and emerging threats.
Control Frameworks: Develop and refine methodologies for auditing IT controls, ensuring adherence to frameworks like COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, and others relevant to our industry.
Compliance and Legal: Ensure technology practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions, including data protection laws like GDPR, CCPA, etc.
Advisory/Consulting: Provide strategic advice to business units on IT risk management, suggesting improvements in processes to enhance security, efficiency, and compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with senior management and board members to discuss audit findings, risk management strategies, and compliance issues.
Team Development: Mentor and develop a team of IT auditors, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.
Experience:
Proven track record in performing technology audits, operational audits, or advisory roles in a global setting.
Deep understanding of IT risk, controls, and compliance frameworks.
Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies for auditing.
