Lifecycle Support Analyst / Team Lead
Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Lifecycle Support Analyst/Team Lead in our National Security Sector’s (NSS) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Job Summary / Primary Responsibilities The selected individual will provide technical leadership to the Lifecycle Support team (5–10 people) while also performing day‑to‑day Lifecycle Support Analyst duties for a large, complex hardware/software system with diverse, distributed configurations. They will manage workflow and processes, develop Increment Plans, prioritize tasks, supervise personnel, and align resources with the engineering roadmap to ensure optimal team performance. Continuous process improvement will be facilitated across the HW/SW/Data management systems and protocols, and the candidate will collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams, performing and overseeing data/software/hardware tracking management.
Government HW/SW purchasing.
Software data transfer / software file transfer.
Downloading software, licenses, and/or patches.
Managing software assets for control and distribution to teams across the program.
Researching and maintaining software license tracking information.
Researching software and hardware data (maintenance documents, End‑of‑Life, software sites for documents and downloads, etc.).
Researching End‑of‑life support / End of Sale.
Creating, updating, and maintaining detailed documentation for large‑scale software and data tracking.
Additional duties include configuration management tool administration, task delegation, and briefing Program and Team Leads on team tasking and ticket status.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of government purchasing, data management, hardware/software management, and quality control experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
At least 3 years of experience in all or most of the following areas:
Hands‑on experience performing data management and maintenance support for large‑scale systems.
Experience with large‑scale software licenses and support (managing software assets for control and distribution to other teams across a large program).
Experience researching and maintaining software license information.
Experience with hardware warranties and maintenance.
Government Hardware/Software purchasing experience.
Experience working directly with technical teams (Software Engineers, Sys Admins, Network Engineers, Infrastructure, Test, and/or integration) to gather and document information related to the lifecycle of software and hardware equipment.
Experience providing large‑scale data, software and hardware control, tracking, and management data/license support.
Experience with software data transfer, software file transfer, and downloading software, licenses, and/or patches.
Experience researching software and hardware data (maintenance documents, End of Life, software sites for documents and downloads, etc.), researching End‑of‑life support/End of Sale, and creating and maintaining detailed documentation for large‑scale software and data tracking.
Experience with Configuration Management/collaboration tool administration.
Must possess a positive attitude and excellent people skills.
Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be self‑motivated and proactive and have a record of independently and effectively planning and prioritizing tasks.
Must be detail‑oriented and able to successfully handle time‑sensitive tasking.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a technical, Agile development environment.
In‑depth hands‑on System Administration experience related to hardware and software maintenance.
Extensive, formal Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, and/or Audit experience on a large technical system.
Pay Range $82,550.00 – $149,225.00
