This position is responsible for providing skilled craftsmanship for installation of formwork, finish carpentry and drywall. This position works on the final stages of on-site construction activities to deliver the aesthetic appeal to a project’s interior and completion.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Perform skilled carpentry work in final stages of construction of multi-family units. Construct, finish and maintain woodwork including cabinets, fixtures, countertops, etc. Inspect and execute paint touch-up. Repair and maintain dry wall. Prepare and execute daily work plan. Work in unison with on-site construction team to complete projects in a timely and safe manner. Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience of carpentry experience, preferably of interior finish experience. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in construction or repair of multi-family units. Reliable transportation. Ability to work Monday – Friday, 7a-5pm. Saturday working hours may be required. Advanced knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, methods, and standards used in skilled carpentry. Ability to meet schedules and timelines. Ability to work safely. Ability to operate independently and effectively report in written and verbal formats. Ability to understand a goal and work as a team to achieve such. Pre-Prerequisites (these are the most important items)
