Analyst – Real Estate Asset Management and Development Key Responsibilities

Support process improvements throughout the Real Estate portfolio by providing reports documenting the efforts to reduce operating expenses and standardize procedures.

Develop customized reports supporting initiatives by managing the collection of special projects and property management related performance measurements.

Manage ownership reporting, quarterly updates, and presentations.

Organize and maintain a project management tracking database which can be used to manage and report on the progress and payment status of key projects and initiatives.

Monitor and analyze utility consumption and spend throughout the residential portfolio.

Coordinate the implementation and introduction of energy savings initiatives throughout the residential.

Develop customized reports to be used by senior management to evaluate and measure energy.

Attend weekly operations support meetings and provide support as needed.

Support investment underwriting, modeling, and analysis for new development and acquisition.

Conduct market research and prepare competitive reports to inform project feasibility.

Assist with transaction documentation, including LOIs, term sheets, and redlines.

Perform ad-hoc financial analysis, portfolio tracking, and internal reporting.

Participate in site visits and travel to active and pipeline projects (approximately quarterly).

Collaborate cross-functionally with design, construction, and finance teams to support end-to-end project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university.

Computer literacy with basic Microsoft Windows and Office applications, including Word and Outlook.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required.

1–3 years of experience in real estate, finance, development, or a related field.

Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel; exposure to Argus or similar tools preferred.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self‑starter with intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn the full investment lifecycle.

Interest in residential development and asset management strongly preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, in person, by phone, and via written correspondence.

Miscellaneous office duties include filing, copying, faxing, and data entry.

Keep management updated regarding status of core items by preparing area status reports.

Follow policies and procedures; complete administrative tasks correctly and on time; support organization goals and values.
