Tri-County International Trucks/Idealease is a family‑owned business seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to diagnose, repair, and maintain light, medium, and heavy‑duty trucks and buses.
Qualifications
At least one year of hands‑on experience as a diesel technician – preferably dealership or fleet experience.
Michigan State Certifications in Heavy Duty Truck. Trainee Permit accepted.
ASE, Navistar, or Cummins Certifications are a plus.
Knowledge in the repair & maintenance of diesel engines, power trains, and electrical systems.
Diagnostic skills/experience & attention to detail.
Good verbal, written & computer skills.
Good character & work ethic.
Able to follow the manufacturer’s policies and procedures for labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs.
On‑the‑job factory training and certifications available.
Internal promotional/growth opportunities based on experience and aptitude.
Possess your own tools.
Chauffeur’s License required (CDL a plus).
Qualified applicants must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen, physical examination, and background check. Salary and sign‑on bonus levels commensurate with experience.
