Responsibilities Valle Vista Health System is a 132-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful community of Greenwood, IN. Valle Vista Health System features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Valle Vista Health System. Valle Vista Health System is proud to be a teaching facility that supports local nursing students through our dedicated and tenured nursing team.

This is a temporary nursing position for a 13-week duration. The Registered Nurse (R.N.) consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. The R.N. provides information on the disease process, medications, and ongoing care to our patient population. The position is also responsible for monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in a patient's condition. Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.

NOTE: Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible.

Hours : 7:00 am to 7:30 pm

Location : 898 East Main Street, Greenwood 46143

Conditions : 13-week duration. FT status - Must work 3 - 12 hour day shifts per week to be eligible. Benefits are not available for this position.

Rate of Pay : $65.00 an hour

Qualifications Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN)

Current license to practice nursing in State of Indiana/Valle Vista Health System (or eligible to receive or renew).

Current CPR or BLS certification.

* Must have 1 year or more experience in a Psych hospital setting.
