What You’ll Do
Diagnose malfunctions on equipment and perform repairs
Perform preventive maintenance on engines and hydraulic systems for on and off road mobile equipment (including vehicles such as trucks and trailers) and maintain stationary equipment
Operate the following mobile equipment: loaders, forklifts, trucks, material handlers and other various equipment to troubleshoot
Performs a wide range of physical activity including operating aerial lifts at various heights
Use computers to issue parts and update comments on work orders/task lists including diagnostic programs for engines and hydraulic systems, OEM, and brake systems
Ensure all jobs are completed in a proficient and safe manner when working within the plant and/or garage shop areas while wearing Personal Protective Equipment
What You’ll Need
Minimum 3 years experience with basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical and electronic engines, mobile equipment, and vehicles
Must be able to perform minor repairs and routine tasks efficiently, correctly, and safely
Must keep clean and safe work area and comply with all plant specific rules, procedures, and duties
Your Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Vocation School or previous Diesel Mechanic experience a plus.
