Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications
Perform precision machining using manual/CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment
Work with hardened steels, carbide, and other tool steels
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and press teams to optimize die and tooling performance
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure tooling meets quality standards
Work as a team or individual in a clean manufacturing environment.
Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
Support continuous improvement and preventive maintenance
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker (progressive stamping experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of die construction, repair, and troubleshooting
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
Experience working with carbide and hardened materials
Proficiency with precision measuring tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Apprenticeship completion or technical training in Tool & Die or Machining
Experience in high-speed, high-volume stamping environments
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
