Job Description
This position supports individuals to obtain and maintain employment as well as achieve meaningful active participation in a variety of community settings.
Responsibilities
Assess consumers' needs and desires related to community activities and employment.
Support, assist, and teach individuals needed skills such as job interview skills, interpersonal skills, and resume creation.
Develop a positive professional relationship with individuals' employers and acquire a detailed understanding of the requirements of the individuals' job.
Who We Are Alternative Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people with intellectual disabilities, mental illness and/or autism in their homes, jobs, and communities throughout the state of Michigan. We are seeking compassionate people to provide care and support in a vocational program setting. Full and Part-time positions are currently available in the Livonia, MI area.
Qualifications Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, possess a valid Michigan Driver License, and have excellent moral character.

1st shift, Monday - Friday, and occasionally on a Saturday.
Pay:
$16.40 per hour
