Precision CNC Machinist
Overview This role supports precision manufacturing operations through the setup and operation of Swiss-style CNC lathes. The position focuses on producing high- quality components in a low- to medium-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC lathes for precision component manufacturing
Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet print requirements
Troubleshoot machining and setup issues with limited supervision
Support lower-quantity production runs with a focus on quality and consistency
Maintain a clean, organized, and detail-oriented work environment
Qualifications
Recent experience with Swiss-style CNC lathe platforms
Experience with Citizen-style machines preferred, with openness to comparable Swiss platforms
Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
Ability to interpret complex blueprints, including GD&T
Experience machining stainless steel alloys
Strong mechanical inspection and problem‑solving capabilities
