Description GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing marketing projects, tracking projects, proofing, writing copy, internal communication, assisting Director and KMN marketing committee with miscellaneous projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Manages and tracks KMN marketing projects from start to completion to ensure accuracy and deadlines are met.
Prepares ad requests and compliance approvals for all marketing communication pieces.
Responsible for internal communications of monthly marketing for product/services that includes (but is not limited to) lobby displays, website updates, statement inserts, signs, etc.
Thoroughly proofreads all marketing communications; also writes copy as needed.
Assists in product promotions.
Orders promotional items, marketing materials and supplies.
Coordinates marketing and branch events for social media.
Monitors, responds and posts to social media as needed.
Assists in event planning.
Serves as member of Pinnacle Bancorp Marketing Committee.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of bank products, locations, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of word processing and Excel.
Knowledge of marketing functions, including social media.
Skill in organization and attention to detail is critical.
Excel in proofreading skills.
Excellent communication skills in order to effectively convey information to others.
Ability to travel.
Ability to function as a team player.
Ability to work under pressure of deadlines with multiple projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred
Marketing experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK CONDITIONS Seeing:
75-100% Must be able to see ad material, read documents, use computer
Hearing:
75-100% Must be able to communicate with vendors and co-workers
Standing/Walking:
50-74% Sitting work most of the day
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling:
0-24% Occasional booth or marketing setup
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling:
75-100% Must be able to use computer, write
Lifting:
0-24% Occasional lifting
PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS:
Medium Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negotiable amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Job involves sitting most of the time and if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
