Gorman & Company is hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to support three communities, with primary training and assignment at Riverview Apartments, support at Sunlight Crossing, and assistance at Prairie Run once it opens in Summer 2026.**What You’ll Do*** Provide high-level maintenance support across multiple apartment communities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior systems* Serve as a key resource for diagnosing complex maintenance issues and ensuring timely, high-quality repairs* Support unit turns and make-readies to ensure apartments are move-in ready on schedule* Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests and on-call emergencies* Prepare properties for seasonal conditions, including snow removal and winter readiness* Coordinate and oversee vendor and contractor work when needed* Utilize property management software to manage work orders and documentation* Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and supply inventory in a safe and organized manner* Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining professionalism with residents, vendors, and teammates**What You Bring*** Strong HVAC experience (EPA Type II or Universal preferred)* High-level, well-rounded property maintenance skill set* Previous multifamily maintenance experience* Comfort using computers, mobile devices, and property management software (OneSite preferred)* Excellent customer service skills and professional communication style* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot efficiently* Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel between properties* Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed, including for snow removal and seasonal response* Availability for rotating on-call coverage**Compensation & Benefits*** Hourly pay range of $33.65–$36.06, based on experience, certifications, and skill level* Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to support you and your family* Generous paid time off plus paid holidays so you can recharge and enjoy life outside of work* 401(k) retirement plan with 6% company match to help you plan for the future* Paid parental leave and short- and long-term disability coverage* A stable, year-round position with a respected, nationally active affordable housing developer* The opportunity to support new community openings and work with a collaborative, experienced maintenance team that values professionalism and quality workmanshipApply today and help keep our communities safe, comfortable, and well cared for.Gorman & Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
