Job Description Our client, a leader in the power sports industry, is seeking an experienced Social Media and E‑Mail Specialist for a 12+ month contract assignment in Plymouth, MN. This role is hybrid and can be full or part‑time.
POSITION SUMMARY Looking for a Social Media + Email Specialist who thrives on creativity, nails execution, and has strong relationship‑building skills. This role will manage social media and email marketing initiatives to engage audiences, strengthen brand presence, and support marketing objectives. The ideal candidate is hungry to learn, highly creative, and builds strong connections with outfitters and partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Social Media Management
Content Ideation & Creation
Brainstorm and execute fresh social media ideas that reflect creativity and brand voice.
Understand social media platforms, what makes them tick and how to “hack” them with content
Monitor trending content and collaborate with outfitters to create new content, repurpose existing content or give direction to partners to create content for social use.
Demonstrate creative thinking and execution in all content development.
Develop a deep understanding of our catalog of offerings and how to position/group them for maximum impact.
Maintain a relevant overall presence.
Publishing & Scheduling
Maintain a consistent publishing cadence.
Adapt content for multiple platforms while ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
Exhibit detail‑oriented execution for all posts.
Community Management
Respond promptly to public comments and private messages (DMs) with high urgency and professionalism.
Engage with outfitters, tags, mentions, proactive outreach, and reposting.
Build trust and foster relationships with outfitters and like‑minded brands.
Platform Understanding and Performance Monitoring
Provide reporting on social performance and insights for optimization.
Stay up‑to‑date on algorithms and platform changes as a true social savant.
Email Marketing
Creatively present, schedule, and deploy B2B and B2C email campaigns creating and using existing templates
Create engaging emails with a drive toward constant improvement and optimization
Align email timing with other communications and campaign initiatives.
Perform basic reporting (open rates, CTR) and apply messaging direction from the team.
Site Marketing
Connects opportunities between site, social and email to create new landing experiences and collections, and drives them through to completion.
Has a “can we make it better” mindset and comes up with suggestions that will help increase conversion from social and email channels.
Additional Responsibilities (Nice‑to‑Have)
Identify influencers and manage outreach opportunities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
3 years of relevant experience managing social media channels
3 years of experience supporting email or site marketing initiatives
Strong experience working with Klaviyo
Must be able to provide a portfolio or previous work samples
Experience within Meltwater a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS
Flexible hours; open to full‑time or part‑time.
Hybrid work arrangement; ability to be onsite at the Bass Creek location (Plymouth, MN) as business demands.
Must support daily activity (6–7 days per week). Weekend work includes monitoring and responding.
PAY RATE Pay Rate: $36.73– $38.73/hour
