CAD Designer – Screen Print & Production Artwork

Juniors Apparel | Off-Price Market

Key Responsibilities CAD & Print Execution

Create screen prints, placement graphics, panels, and engineered artwork for Juniors apparel in the off-price market.

Execute CAD artwork based on provided direction, references, or existing art.

Create CAD garment silhouettes to support accurate print placement, scale, and production reference.

Prepare artwork using vector and raster formats for production use.

Color & Production Setup

Build and update colorways based on given palettes or instructions.

Prepare accurate color separations for screen printing and related techniques.

Deliver production‑ready files, including correct sizing, scale, and factory‑ready formats.

Review and verify all artwork, placements, color codes, and print packs prior to production.

Production Support & Collaboration

Create detailed print packs and technical artwork for factory production.

Collaborate with Design and Production teams to support fast‑turn development and revisions.

Organization & Workflow

Handle a high volume of CAD requests with speed and accuracy.

Manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.

Maintain organized files, naming conventions, and version control.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of CAD experience in apparel production (Juniors experience strongly preferred).

Proven experience creating screen prints and placement graphics for apparel.

Strong understanding of print scale, placement, and production limitations.

Ability to CAD garment silhouettes for placement and production reference.

Excellent attention to detail and color accuracy.

Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Portfolio must show screen prints and placement artwork applied to garment silhouettes.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $70k-$80k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
