Responsibilities
Conduct and oversee the daily operations related to turfgrass care, irrigation systems, pest control, and landscaping
Primary goal is to ensure that the course is in excellent condition, providing a high-quality playing surface for golfers
Develop and implement maintenance plans, considering factors like weather conditions, play schedules, and budget constraints
Providing guidance and training to course maintenance staff to ensure that tasks are performed efficiently
Assist in long‑term planning, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance the course's aesthetics, playability, and sustainability
Work closely with Director of Golf Operations and General Manager to create an exceptional golfing experience for players while maintaining the ecological integrity of the course
Abide by the job description and responsibilities presented by the Board of Directors
Qualifications
Pesticide Application License or the ability to retain one - Required
Class B Certification by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America - Required
Valid Driver's License – Required
Notes Additional Salary Information: negotiable and commensurate with qualifications and experience
