The Account Specialist is responsible for interpreting and clearly communicating project instructions throughout the organization. They act as quarterback, working with the service team, premedia, press, bindery and logistics teams to ensure that the client’s project runs smoothly and reinforces their brand image.
Salary Range: $50,000-$52,000 Annual
WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:

Interpret a variety of print and distribution instructions with high attention to detail.
Work directly with customers on all production issues including:
Comparing print instructions and distribution to confirmed specifications/pricing. Reviewing furnished item specifications and receipts. Entering version, assembly, and quantity details as per client’s instructions. Identifying artwork files and proofs. Releasing accurate production instructions to premedia, press, bindery, and logistics. Providing postage requests and/or mail plans to the customer. Work with the Account Manager to make sure the job is flowing smoothly through the plant and answer any questions that may arise from production. Provide accurate instruction for disposition of WIP and non-mail inventory.
Collaborate with Procurement on special materials and/or outsourcing requirements. Partner with Sales support staff to make sure any special customer needs or concerns are identified to the plant prior to and during production. Determine when Sales Representatives or Client Services Management should be informed and brought into different situations that may occur. Meet with customers as directed by Sales Representative. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Bachelor’s degree in graphic communications or business administration or in lieu of degree, 4 years of related printing industry experience. Ability to utilize logic and conceptual thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative nature to work in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Exhibits good problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to respond to after-hours manufacturing questions, when necessary.
