The Recertification / Leasing Specialist will effectively help manage the properties leasing and recertification documentation. The person will coordinate with resident households to collect necessary income, expense, and asset information to calculate rent and/or program eligibility based on affordable program type. Achieves and maintains timeliness of recertifications in line with agency and program requirements. Responsible for all phases of the recertification process.
Qualifications:
Experience with LIHTC, Tax Credit, Section 8 or HUD Project based properties is required
Knowledge and 1 to 2 years of experience in property management.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Have a positive attitude and keep a solution-based and customer-focused mindset at all times
This is a contract position with opportunity to go full time with the organization. Once converted to a full-time permanent employee, this position will be offering a comprehensive benefits package including Base Salary, medical/dental/vision, paid time off, paid holidays, 401K match, insurance, and growth potential that is unlimited. During the contract period it will be a hourly rate without benefits.
Working Conditions: This is an in office position
