Responsibilities As a Commercial Sales Representative, you will understand Orkin’s products and services and sell them to various industries. You’ll provide strategic recommendations to customers to help prevent pests, uphold quality and safety, and satisfy regulatory standards. Build trusted relationships as essential partner protecting their businesses.

Prioritize safety in all responsibilities

Conduct yourself with utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers

Serve as empathetic problem solver for commercial customers using in‑depth training to recommend best innovative solution for each customer’s needs

Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads

Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development

Conduct inspections of interior and exterior of customer commercial property

Make recommendations based on inspection and address questions, explaining solution, and setting expectations for peace of mind

Use iPad and other technology to prepare sales agreements and stay organized

Estimated first‑year earnings $65,000 to $120,000 (Base salary plus uncapped commission)

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

No prior pest control industry experience required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Sales or customer relationship management experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license

Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)

Ability to work independently in field and interact with clients

Physical Demands / Working Conditions Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:

Use ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity

Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl

Wear PPE which may require OSHA‑compliant respirator

Work in varying weather conditions
