The Engagement Manager of Corporate Research will build and subsequently lead a small team of highly talented quantitative and qualitative focused project managers executing across the market research project delivery value chain.
This role will have direct and regular engagement with the GLG Research team in both US and Europe which is focused on servicing corporate clients, spanning technology, industrials, and life sciences industries. This individual will report to a leader based in the US but will have many great local resources and counterparts in Gurugram to partner with and provide a close mentoring environment.

Key responsibilities (but are not limited to)
Team Management
– serve as the liaison to the Corporate Research leader(s) in the US/EMEA to manage project pipelines, team capacity, and timely recognition of project revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis
Client Management – Partner directly with clients, helping to scope their needs into research designs and execute to drive successful relationships
Survey Oversight – Full end-to-end management of quantitative surveys for a specific book of clients, including survey design, programming & fieldwork, and data QC
Project Management & Invoicing – Track a list of Talent on Demand (ToD) engagements and ensure expert consultant hours are reported on a monthly basis and all appropriate payment/invoice requests are submitted at the end of each engagement
Research project participant scheduling
– support the research team in confirming the project timeline, participant requirements, and payment terms with each research participant in Qualitative Insights (QI) and ToD engagements
An ideal candidate will have the following
Experience in a related field (e.g., Market Research, Business Operations, or Project Management), often requiring a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Proven experience in a team leadership or liaison role, demonstrating the ability to work effectively between different organizational levels and regions (US/Europe).
Research Experience: Project management, quant and qualitative background, familiarity with various forms of research (concept testing, message testing, etc)
Project Pipeline Management: Ability to organize, track, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they move through stages efficiently.
Resource/Capacity Management: Skill in assessing and allocating team resources (people, time, budget) to meet project demands and deadlines.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of basic revenue recognition principles and financial tracking, specifically for monthly and quarterly reporting.
Stakeholder Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner directly with clients across US and Europe and with internal stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: High level of organization and attention to detail for timely recognition and accurate reporting of project status and revenue.
Ability to work 03:00 pm – 11:00 pm IST shift
