Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Registered Nurse
at our Bountiful and Tooele locations.
Overview: Ability to demonstrate a high degree of competence and expertise in the medical office setting. Displays an ability to independently problem solve in a positive manner, demonstrate evidence of follow through on task, determine priorities, positively adapt to change, model professionalism and master new technology.
Schedule: 30-40 hours per week Will work in both locations - Park City and Heber City
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff, and patients regarding their appointments and other needs
Must be comfortable breaking down and delegating tasks when appropriate
Must have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment
Proven customer service, communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
Must be a team player and enjoy working with people Basic computer knowledge required
Essential Functions and Duties: Consults with and supports clinical staff in the efforts to serve patients
Helps improve communication among employees in a clinical environment
Works closely with physician, PA, and support staff to provide patient care including: rooming patients, assisting in procedures telephone triage, and maintenance of exam rooms,
Act as a scribe to enter patient notes for physician into the electronic medical record
Assist physician with multiple office surgeries
Provide patient injections for topical anesthesia
Assist in proper instrument cleaning and sterilization
Participate as a team member in a positive work environment
Assists in the planning and promoting skin cancer screening for the community
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience: Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Utah.
Two years' experience in Nursing.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods.
Required lifting up to 50lbs.
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
Inside, climate-controlled working conditions.
