Job Description
As a Housekeeping Houseperson, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms, are spotless and inviting.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Area Cleaning:
Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
Dust, polish, and vacuum furniture and fixtures.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Sweep, mop, and scrub floors as required.
Guest Room Support:
Deliver linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms.
Remove dirty linens and trash from guest rooms.
Assist with room turnovers as needed.
General Maintenance:
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
Assist with minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs or fixing leaky faucets.
Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
