Client Overview Our client is an innovative company creating high-quality cosmetic and personal care products. Their team values collaboration, creativity, and diversity. They are looking for a Junior Chemist.
Salary/Hourly Rate $20/hr - $25/hr
Position Overview The Junior Chemist will assist in the development and testing of cosmetic and personal care products. This role supports laboratory work, product formulation efforts, and quality standards while working closely with senior chemists and cross-functional team members to improve and create new products.
Responsibilities
Prepare solutions and samples for testing.
Maintain laboratory equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper functionality.
Record, review, and document test results accurately.
Assist with improving and refining product formulations.
Write basic reports and follow established laboratory procedures.
Follow all safety, quality, and compliance guidelines.
Collaborate with team members on research and development projects.
Required Experience / Skills
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Familiarity with cosmetic or personal care products.
Experience working in a laboratory or quality control setting.
Understanding of cosmetic regulations.
Ability to write basic technical reports.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
