Position Summary This position will be part of the Lockheed Martin Greenville Support Operations (GSO) Aircraft Maintenance Team, supporting New Production Delivery of the F‑16 at Greenville, South Carolina.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow on maintenance and routine troubleshooting.
Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro‑mechanical and pneumatic systems and components on the aircraft.
Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic‑pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections; general airframe condition; aircraft furnishings and crew escape system.
Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.
