Maintenance Technician & Property Management Support (Full-Time)

Edwardsville, KS (2 apartment communities)
We are seeking a reliable and skilled
Maintenance Technician
to support the daily operations of two multi-family apartment communities in Edwardsville, KS. This is a hands‑on role focused on property maintenance with limited operational support, no leasing or sales responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency maintenance
Respond to resident work orders promptly and professionally
Prepare vacant units for new residents (unit turns)
HVAC service and maintenance
Light plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
Painting, drywall, carpentry, and flooring repair
Assist with vendor coordination as needed
Conduct property walks and post resident notices
Maintain accurate records of work performed
Requirements
Experience in residential or multi‑family maintenance preferred
Skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and drywall
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
Basic computer and data entry skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Personal hand tools required
Functional cell phone with active service
Preferred Qualifications
HVAC or trade certifications
Construction or renovation experience
Familiarity with Rent Manager or similar software
