Position Overview
Job Title: Maintenance Technician Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Community: Big Valley Woods (209 homes, 68 RV spots) in Boring, OR.
Key Responsibilities
Represent Investment Property Group in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Diagnose defects or problems and complete assigned work orders with repairs in accordance with policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
Track and maintain inventory of materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items, returning unused items to the designated location and notifying supervisors of re‑ordering needs.
Perform general park and facilities maintenance under minimum supervision, meeting quality and production standards.
Demonstrate fair, consistent treatment during all resident interactions, promoting positive resident relations.
Assist in daily inspections of the property and common areas to detect maintenance issues.
Follow the preventative maintenance schedule.
Contribute to occupancy goals and promote a quality living experience for residents by effectively performing maintenance tasks.
Serve as a resource for management and assist in developing and communicating more efficient maintenance methods.
Participate in after‑hour and emergency coverage rotation schedule.
Safely use and maintain power tools and mechanical equipment.
Requirements
1+ years prior experience as a Maintenance Technician at a manufactured or multi‑family apartment community of 100+ units.
Strong interpersonal skills for fostering positive relationships with residents and collaborating with team members.
Exceptional time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
Experience with plumbing, sewer, irrigation, and general construction.
Knowledge of landscaping tools, techniques, and seasonal maintenance practices.
Superior customer service, attention to detail, and time‑management skill.
Dynamic self‑starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Positive attitude and team player.
Valid driver’s license.
