Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Programmer role in Phoenix, AZ. Develop, modify, and maintain software used in manufacturing automation, production equipment, and facility operations. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and automated systems to ensure smooth and efficient production. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to identify system requirements and implement technical solutions. Conduct system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure reliability and compliance with facility standards. Integrate new equipment, sensors, and controls into existing production lines. Document code changes, system configurations, and technical procedures accurately. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime. Provide technical support during equipment installations, upgrades, and preventative maintenance. Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, software issues, or safety concerns to supervisors. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field; equivalent experience in manufacturing automation accepted. Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, SCADA systems, or industrial control systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, Python, or C#. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, and automation workflows. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of safety regulations, industrial controls, and electrical systems is a plus. What We Offer
