Position Overview:
As an
OSP Designer III , you will be responsible for planning, designing, documenting, and permitting proposed new outside plant FTTx build-outs. In this role, you will collaborate with other members of our Fiber Design & Implementation Engineering team to produce high-quality deliverables for buried, underground, and aerial fiber applications.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of six (6) years’ experience in telecom engineering and design is required.
Experience with Active E and XGSPON FTTH designs is required.
Working knowledge of GIS systems such as ArcGIS/QGIS/Google Earth.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD-based software.
Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for Telecom/FFTx OSP construction.
Intermediate skills in essential programs like Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to work overtime.
US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
Post‑secondary degree in Engineering, GIS, or related fields preferred.
