Accounting Analyst
to join their Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, ownership, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role reports directly to the
Accounting Manager
and offers strong exposure across core accounting functions.
Hybrid Schedule:
4 days in office / 1 day remote Salary $80-$90K

Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable
Review, code, and process vendor invoices ensuring proper authorization
Determine sales/use tax applicability and 1099 eligibility
Enter invoices into the Aderant accounting system
Process vendor payments, obtain approvals, and distribute payments
Resolve positive pay exceptions and vendor inquiries
Review vendor statements and research discrepancies
Track uncashed checks and reissue payments as needed
Process expense reports and invoices through Chrome River
Assist with annual 1099 preparation
General Ledger
Prepare and post journal entries as needed
Support matter and employee maintenance within Aderant
Prepare monthly account reconciliations, analyses, and schedules
Accounts Receivable
Record incoming wire transfers and check deposits
Process client credit card payments
Investigate and resolve payments with missing or unclear remittance details
Escrow / Trust Accounting
Process and record escrow activity in accordance with internal procedures
Prepare weekly escrow activity reports and reconciliations
Payroll
Input payroll data into Ceridian Dayforce
Review payroll previews prior to transmission
Serve as backup for payroll processing
Assist with annual W-2 review
Additional Responsibilities
Backup support for daily cash reporting
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
Participate in ad hoc projects and special initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of hands‑on accounting experience
Strong understanding of core accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with
Aderant, Chrome River, and/or Ceridian Dayforce
is a plus
