Position: Portfolio Manager – Circuit Protection (Peachtree Corners, GA) This role is part of the Siemens Smart Infrastructure operating company, Electrical Products business unit. The Portfolio Manager will guide the strategic direction and performance of the Circuit Protection portfolio, focusing on new product introductions, market research, innovation and long‑term planning.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Leadership – Drive the strategic direction of the circuit protection portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer value, market needs, technology trends and business goals.

Innovation & Roadmap – Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, including identifying innovation opportunities and managing the new product introduction lifecycle from concept through post‑launch reviews.

Market & Competitive Intelligence – Conduct in‑depth market research, customer value analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform portfolio decisions and identify growth opportunities.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing and finance teams to ensure successful product development, launch and lifecycle management.

Pricing & Forecasting – Develop pricing strategies and forecast models for new product introductions to support profitable growth and market competitiveness.

Training & Enablement – Deliver targeted training for sales teams and customers to support new product adoption and market penetration.

Customer & Collaborator Engagement – Engage with key customers, industry partners and internal leadership to gather insights, validate strategies and ensure portfolio relevance and success.

Technical Expertise – Leverage deep knowledge of power distribution, circuit protection and energy monitoring to drive product innovation and ensure technical excellence (ACB experience highly preferred).

Qualifications Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management or Business Marketing.

5+ years of experience in product or portfolio management within the power distribution or power protection sector.

Proven record of leading new product introductions and managing product lifecycles.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and project‑management skills.

Ability to use data to tell stories and make data‑driven decisions.

Experience turning Voice of Customer feedback into actionable strategy.

Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (15%).

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and protection products, including Safety Switches, Disconnect Switches, Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs) and Power Circuit Breakers.

Experience developing business cases, analyzing product profitability and making data‑driven portfolio decisions.

Agile experience with data analytics tools such as KNIME, Tableau or similar.

Leadership of cross‑functional initiatives, familiarity with PLM systems, PMP or Scrum Master certification a plus.

Global operations insight – understanding of international supply chains, S&OP, third‑party manufacturing and brand label management.

The pay range for this position is $102,459 – $175,644 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. Actual wages may vary.
