Job Title: Design Engineer
Location: Raymond, OH
Compensation $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Responsibilities
Design and model fixturing in CATIA V5/V6 to hold vehicle parts during processes such as welding, painting, assembly, and testing.
Incorporate body part construction, datums, and weld information into fixture design.
Conduct layout checks with users to confirm fixtures meet all requirements.
Export 3D/2D data and outsource to suppliers for quotes and ordering.
Research improvements to fixturing or manufacturing processes.
Support other requests for fixturing, test equipment, or prototyping within the company.
Create data for evaluation models for development groups such as Interior Design.
Assist aerodynamic teams by designing wind tunnel test models.
