Overview
Anderson Landscaping, Inc., a 40‑year old family‑owned business located on the east side of Sioux Falls, is seeking a Landscape Foreman / Lead Man.
Responsibilities
Lead a team in landscape installation, tear‑offs, and maintenance.
Read and interpret blue‑print drafts, house plans, and scaled landscape plans.
Communicate with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare materials for the job, deliver them to the site, and direct crew to ensure work meets specifications.
Operate machinery and power equipment such as saws, packers, sod cutters, and Bobcats.
Install plants, trees, and hardscape features—including retaining walls, paving stones, and water and fire features.
Haul and spread topsoil, stone, mulch and other landscape materials.
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of crew management experience.
Prior knowledge of landscaping and construction is highly desirable.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
Compensation & Benefits Pay is based on experience. We offer yearly raises, promotion from within, benefits (Simple Plan and paid holidays), and a valid driver’s license is required.
