Job Summary: As a PCA, you’ll be a trusted companion and supportive presence for seniors, providing personal care, assistance, and companionship. This role offers meaningful, steady work in a collaborative, people-focused environment.

Hourly Wage:

$15.50 /hr. to start - $16.50 after 90 days

Weekdays 8:00 am -11:00 am, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm every other weekend

Weekdays 4:00 - 7:00pm, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm every other weekend

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, supervision, and companionship

Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, transfers, and incontinence care

Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation

Travel to participant homes and escort participants to appointments

Prompt and monitor medications as appropriate

Report participant needs or changes to the care team

Document care in AlayaCare accurately and consistently

Support quality improvement initiatives and follow interdisciplinary team plans

Build strong relationships, offering comfort, dignity, and respect

Required Skills and Abilities:

Genuine empathy and commitment to elderly care

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively

Calm, patient, and consistent in providing care

Independent decision-making when needed, rooted in team consensus

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required

CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain at employer’s expense)

One year of experience with frail or elderly populations preferred, or willingness to complete company-paid training

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Successful completion of background checks, drug screening, physical, and TB screening

Physical Requirements:

Ability to move throughout the day and assist with participant mobility

Ability to lift, push, pull, or move at least 25 pounds

Ability to assist with participant evacuation if needed

Ability to follow proper safety protocols in participant homes
