About the Role Riskified is growing our Business Development team — and this isn’t your typical BD role. Here, you’ll go beyond volume‑based outreach to drive truly strategic and consultative engagement with some of the world’s largest enterprises and Fortune 500 companies.
We're looking for a highly self‑motivated, sales‑oriented, competitive, and adaptable Business Development Representative to join the team. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in high‑volume prospecting, scaled outreach, and leveraging AI tools for process efficiencies when targeting multiple accounts. Be ready to share your passion for sales and lead generation.
Responsibilities
Prospect and research target companies to identify unique needs and business challenges
Develop creative, tailored outreach strategies to engage key decision makers
Execute sales discovery calls with prospects highlighting the value of Riskified's platform
Build relationships through networking opportunities, including conferences, trade shows, and industry events
Partner cross‑functionally to drive ideas and projects designed to drive qualified opportunities and revenue growth
Qualifications
Able to quickly understand Riskified and our place within the payments, eCommerce, and fraud technology space.
Collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization - we work in a very open and collaborative environment and encourage people who bring their ideas and ambition with them every day.
Demonstrates high self‑motivation, a results‑driven approach, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Proven ability to thrive and manage priorities in a fast‑paced sales environment
Attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills
This is an incentive‑based role and a significant portion of compensation is based on performance against objectives. The base salary range for this position is $65,000‑$70,000. This range is applicable to candidates who will perform the job either wholly, or in part, within New York City. Actual salary will be based on qualifications, competencies, and location. Base salary is just one part of the pay package at Riskified. All full‑time regular employees receive a bonus target and are eligible to receive stock‑based awards.
