Jr. Tooling Estimator

Pro Resources is seeking a Junior Tooling Estimator for a client in Decatur, IN. The Tooling Estimator will evaluate customer requirements, develop accurate cost estimates for tooling projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure profitability and efficiency. Shift and Compensation 1st Shift Pay ranges from $52,000 - $62,400 per year, based on experience Job Duties Prepare quotes for foundry tooling using customer-supplied 3D models and/or 2D prints Interface with customers to ensure that quotes are prepared to customers’ needs and specifications Communicate customers’ needs to our tooling staff to ensure job is executed to customer’s specifications Requirements Foundry and/or Sales Background preferred Familiarity with CAD/CAM programs – Cimatron preferred, or experience with other 3D CAD software such as Solidworks, PROE or UG is a must. Knowledge of variety of foundry operations and processes – Disamatic molding knowledge a plus Proficient at manipulating 3D models using CAD Software Ability to read 2D casting blueprints Decipher what is needed to produce foundry tooling from 2D prints or 3D models Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing workload and customer specifications Must be able to generate and maintain information in Excel worksheets Problem-Solver Must be able to interface with customers Pro Resources offers healthcare, dental and vision benefits, direct deposit, pay card services, referral bonuses and employee of the month rewards.
