Essential Job Requirements:
Setup/teardown of machine tools – load and/or unload jaws, fixtures, tooling as needed
Download programs from the central database
Make program changes as needed to improve the process
Load and unload parts from the machine
Use measuring equipment for inspection of in-process and finished products, including micrometers, calipers, Pi tapes, rail gauges, etc.
Monitor cutting tools and make adjustments, including machine offsets and insert changes
Make tooling changes to improve the process
Keep the immediate area clean and organized
Equipment Used:
Machine tools such as CNC Lathes, Mills, or VTLs
Hand tools
Pallet jacks
Jib crane
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Motivated by daily and weekend overtime
Available for 1st Shift: Monday - Friday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Available for 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday (4:00 PM - 2:30 AM) with a $3/hour shift differential
At least 10 years of machining experience
Experience with Horizontal-Vertical lathes, Mills, and/or Mill-Turn Machines
Ability to make program changes as needed
Ability to read and understand engineering routing and drawings
Proficiency in using measuring instruments
Strong math and basic trigonometry skills
Ability to follow complex instructions and interpret drawings and routing
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
10+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years in a production or manufacturing setting
Technical degree or certification
Tool design experience
Experience programming and operating high-precision measurement systems

Pay Range:
$30.15 - $45.23 per hour
Compensation varies based on multiple factors including experience, skills, and location.
