The Legal Department plays a critical role in supporting KBRA’s global operations, with responsibilities that include litigation management, contract negotiation, corporate governance, regulatory support, and advising business units on a wide range of legal issues. The team works closely with compliance, finance, human resources, operations, and senior management to mitigate risk and support KBRA’s strategic objectives. About the Job

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will provide essential support to KBRA’s Legal Department by assisting in the management of litigation matters, regulatory inquiries, and related investigations. You will be responsible for organizing case files, managing document discovery, liaising with outside counsel and e-discovery vendors, and preparing materials for hearings, filings, and settlements. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The position will be based in our New York office. You will be successful in this role if you possess

Bachelor’s degree

and a Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience. 4–7 years

of experience as a paralegal handling litigation and investigations, preferably in a law firm, regulatory agency or corporate legal department. Demonstrate strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery rules, and case management practices. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems; experience with e-discovery tools strongly preferred. Comfort supporting fact-finding and investigations, including taking detailed interview notes and synthesizing information for attorney review. Discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling sensitive information, including highly confidential regulatory matters. Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities

Litigation and Investigations Support: Assist with case management, including drafting correspondence, preparing discovery responses, maintaining litigation calendars, and supporting fact-finding by attending internal interviews, taking notes, and organizing information. Document Management: Oversee the collection, organization, and review of documents for litigation, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations. Outside Counsel Coordination: Act as a point of contact for external counsel and e-discovery vendors; track budgets, invoices, and case updates. Docket Monitoring: Regularly monitor federal and state court dockets and summarize case developments for the legal team. Court and Regulatory Filings: Prepare, proofread, and submit filings in accordance with applicable rules and deadlines. Case Research: Conduct factual and legal research to support litigation and regulatory matters. Internal Collaboration: Partner with compliance, finance, human resources and business units to gather information and support internal reporting. Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of internal litigation support processes and knowledge management systems. Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $140,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors. A flexible hybrid work schedule – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in the office.
