We are looking for a part‑time with the possibility of becoming a full‑time professional groomer at Carriage Animal Hospital in Lombard Illinois. This is a commission‑based job and weekends are a must. Carriage offers Veterinary care, Daycare, and Boarding on top of Grooming! Carriage Animal Hospital is a growing, fast‑paced small animal hospital that has a large client base. We have a walk‑up grooming tub, a walk‑in shower area, wall mounted high‑velocity hand dryer, cage dryers, plus a professional grooming table. Shampoos and conditioner provided. Groomers are required to bring their own accessories including clippers, blades, shears, bows and bandanna’s.

Responsibilities Provides grooming services for pets in adherence with established policies and procedures to ensure safety and security of pets and clients. Maintains strong knowledge of grooming best practices, pricing and marketing strategies. Builds strong client relationships. Attends meetings as required for training. Minimum 1 year of job‑specific experience required with ability to independently build client relations, coordinate and deliver grooming services.
Qualifications Experience: Dog Grooming: 1 year (Required)
The base Commission range for this position is 50-60%. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
