Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Role Overview RACER is looking for a hands‑on Video Producer / Editor to support production at the RACER Irvine Studio. This role is equal parts production, post‑production, and distribution , supporting podcasts and video content from camera operation through final delivery. You will be responsible for capturing high‑quality studio content, managing media workflows, editing full‑length episodes and clips, preparing assets for digital and broadcast distribution, and ensuring content is published, scheduled, and reported on accurately. This is a highly executional role for someone who is organized, technically capable, and comfortable owning the full content pipeline. Key Responsibilities Production & Studio Operations Operate cameras, audio, and basic lighting for in‑studio podcast and video productions Support multi‑camera podcast and interview setups Ensure clean audio/video capture and troubleshoot technical issues during recordings Prepare the studio for shoots and manage equipment readiness Media Management Ingest, organize, and archive video and audio files Maintain clear file structures and naming conventions Manage storage, backups, and media hand‑off for post‑production and delivery Post‑Production Edit full‑length podcast episodes (video and audio) Sync multi‑camera footage and audio Create clean, broadcast‑quality edits for long‑form content Cut shorter clips and highlights as needed Create thumbnails optimized for YouTube and podcast platforms Prepare audio‑only versions for podcast distribution Distribution & Publishing Upload, schedule, and publish episodes to: YouTube Spotify Apple Podcasts Other major podcast platforms Prepare and deliver broadcast‑ready versions with commercial breaks for the RACER Network Ensure correct metadata, titles, descriptions, and thumbnails are applied consistently Reporting & Performance Tracking Produce basic performance reports including: Episode views and listens Watch time and engagement Platform‑level performance summaries Track publishing schedules and content output Support internal reporting for sponsors, partners, and internal teams Qualifications & Experience 2–5+ years experience in video production and editing (studio or podcast experience strongly preferred) Proficiency with professional editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) Comfortable operating cameras and managing audio in a studio environment Strong understanding of YouTube and podcast publishing workflows Experience preparing content for multiple platforms and formats Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable working independently and managing multiple episodes and deadlines Preferred Experience Experience with motorsports, automotive, or sports media Familiarity with broadcast delivery standards and ad break insertion Experience producing performance or analytics reports Understanding of YouTube optimization (thumbnails, titles, retention) What We’re Looking For Someone who takes ownership of the entire production pipeline A self‑starter who can manage details without constant oversight A team player who values consistency, quality, and deadlines Someone excited to help scale a growing studio and content operation Why Join RACER Work with an iconic brand in motorsports and automotive culture Be part of a growing studio producing premium, original programming Collaborate with industry leaders, creators, and talent Opportunity to grow with RACER as our video and podcast output expands #J-18808-Ljbffr
