Title:
Compliance Specialist Responsibilities: The Compliance Specialist is responsible for activities related to federal and state regulations and industry standards. This includes tracking, reviewing, and analyzing Medicare policies, regulations, and compliance requirements that could impact Medicaid products, as well as responding to internal requests for regulatory interpretation. The incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert within the company regarding Medicaid compliance issues, working with departments to research, identify, and address areas of vulnerability related to compliance, and preparing work plans to control against identified risks. This individual is also responsible for implementing processes to ensure regulatory compliance, including monitoring activities and validating departmental audits. Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare industry, pharmacy benefit management, or health plan experience. Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
