Responsibilities
Leading, planning, and executing a variety of financial statement audits in accordance with GAAP.
Evaluating internal control systems and suggesting improvements.
Preparing and presenting audit findings to senior management.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Keeping abreast of latest developments in auditing standards and financial regulations.
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior audit staff.
Assisting in the creation of annual audit plans and risk assessments.
Managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, CIA, or CISA) is highly desirable.
A minimum of three years’ experience in a senior audit role, preferably within the finance industry.
Extensive knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify potential risks.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using audit software and other financial systems.
A proven track record of managing and completing projects on time and within budget.
A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.
