HomeTrust Bank When you apply, you’ll join a team focused on offering investment products to both existing and prospective clients. The Financial Advisor identifies client needs, makes compliant investment/insurance recommendations, and works with business partners to grow relationships. Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Consult on investment and insurance strategies, and develop financial plans for clients. Meet annual revenue/pipeline goals and execute sales activities including developing sales plans and calling programs. Own the client experience, efficiently handling sales and service, identifying opportunities, and referring to internal partners. Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development and networking. Maintain compliance with all applicable banking, broker/dealer, and state/federal regulations on investment and insurance products. Provide leads to branch personnel for other bank products such as deposit accounts and loans. Participate in sales meetings, training, and planning sessions to grow the program. Develop and execute business development plans aligned with sales management objectives. Hold frequent client appointments, seminars, and branch training sessions to secure long‑term relationships. Regularly meet with branch managers and internal partners to review results and pipeline. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Adhere to all corporate policies, regulations, and laws. Follow regulatory requirements including the BSA, AML, CIP, OFAC, and fair lending laws. Complete all mandatory annual compliance training. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Required: 2 years of related sales and/or financial services experience. FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. Applicable state life and health licenses. Ability to provide sound financial recommendations and guidance. Ability to foster and cultivate relationships with prospective and existing customers. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to a broad range of customers. Ability to acquire and maintain product information and stay informed of industry trends. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, sales, presentation, and relationship‑management skills. Excellent written, verbal, problem‑solving, and analytical skills. Ability to maintain and grow referral networks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Commitment to maintain required professional training and license requirements, including FINRA, FDIC, the bank’s uninsured Products Policy Statement, and all applicable regulations.
