Mechanical Engineer, Pressure Vessel - Tulsa, OK
About the Role System One is working with a client to finda Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in pressure vessel and static equipment design.
Key Responsibilities
Develop equipment specifications and layout drawings in accordance with internal standards, international codes, customer requirements, and contractual obligations.
Independently manage mechanical equipment orders, coordinating with purchasing, project management, and other departments.
Create purchasing specifications and requisitions.
Review and validate technical documents from suppliers and customers.
Support project management in ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically pressure vessels and static equipment
Proficiency in ASME Design Code VIII - Division 1
Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
Strong analytical skills for interpreting customer requirements and developing responsive design solutions
Preferred Experience
Background in chemical, pharmaceutical, or oil & gas industries
