About the Job A successful Trailer Mechanic Trainee is mechanically inclined, hardworking, enjoys working outside and with their hands, and is eager to learn a trade in a dynamic field. Professional experience is not required, but previous wrenching experience is strongly preferred.

Work side‑by‑side with a Trailer Mechanic.
Help perform repairs and maintenance on semi‑trailers, keeping trailers in compliance with DOT safety standards.
Essential tasks include changing brakes, tire/wheel service, electrical work, and fabrication.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a DOT physical.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
Ability to lift 50 lb regularly and frequently.
