Senior Construction Inspector CONSOR Engineers is hiring a Senior Construction Inspector to monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and other contract documents related to excavations, drainage facilities, road surfaces, and structures.

Responsibilities

Inspect, observe, document, and verify work progress by the construction contractor to ensure compliance with project schedule, contract documents, and plans.

Utilize engineering inspection practices to perform complex mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date.

Maintain daily inspector reports of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, and quantity of material received and verified.

Perform on‑site material testing and produce as‑constructed sketches as required.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent.

3+ years of construction inspection experience.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualification tests for the position within specified time frames.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Experience working in outdoor environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, and hazard exposure.

Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.
